Arsenal would aim to consolidate their place at the top of the Premier League table with a win over Crystal Palace. The gooners did not have a mid week as they lost to German powerhouse Borussia Dortmund in a very fierce contest.

Many gooners would see this game as an already won game especially with managerless Crystal Palace. However, gooners should not go to sleep and be expecting 3 points.

Firstly, Crystal Palace have nothing to lose. They have won just once this season and it was against bottom placed Sunderland. Everyone expects them to lose this game even their fans, but they could draw confidence from such pessimism.

Secondly, they are manager-less. A manager-less team is always hard to predict. It is difficult to know how they would respond or react to the sack of their manager.

Thirdly, they have acquainted themselves well against the big boys. Tottenham needed  a disputed Roberto Soldado penalty to get 3 points in the opening game of the season while Manchester United had Ashley Young to thank for his famous dive. This shows that with the big boys, they play with courage and without fear.

I watched their last game against Fulham on Monday night and I thought that in the first 15 minutes they acquainted themselves very well. Jedinak, Bolasie, O’keefe, Mariappa and Jason Puncheon did very well and got rewarded with a goal. These players might not be top Premier League players but they are very decent players and the gooners should be careful.

Arsenal should be mindful of this team. They must stamp their authority early on and kill any form of belief and Optimism that the Eagles might have..

To injury news, Flamini is likely to make his return to the team while Jack Wilshere is to have a late fitness test on his ankle. Apart from that everyone is available. The usual injury table residents: Chamberlain, Podolski, Diaby, Walcott are still continuing their rehabilitation.

Predicted Line ups: Its difficult to make a definite line up with the crucial Capital One cup clash against Chelsea coming up in midweek. However, I think the club and her fans should worry about Palace and wait till midweek to battle Chelsea. for this reason, i predict this line up:

Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscienly, Gibbs; Flamini, Ramsey; Carzola, Ozil, Rosicky; Giroud.

Is this 3 points already? Possibly, but we must approach this game with all seriousness, get over with this game and move onto the next one #coyg
