Arsenal keen on to sign versatile Premier League midfielder

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signign Fulham versatile midfielder Tom Cairney but worry that they may be priced out of a deal.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Gunners are admirers of Scotland international, but there are concerns that those behind the scenes may not be so interested to pursue a deal given the cost it may take to convince Premier League side to sell.
Cairney has proved himself as a key player for the Cottagers, enjoying a starring role in their promotion from the EFL Championship.
He has been hampered with injuries thus far this season, but is considered as one of his club’s brightest players and is expected to flourish in the top flight this campaign.
The report states that the growing cost of signing British stars is forcing the Gunners to widen their scouting network and pursue potential deals for foreign players for less money.
Fulham signed 27-year-old Tom Cairney from Blackburn for a reported £4 million fee.
This season, the former Blackburn player has made 5 Premier League appearances and provided one assist.
