Arsenal ladies forward Vivianne Miedema is currently scoring and creating more chances than any other player, with six chances created and six goals scored already this season.
The Daily Cannon recently did a profile on the Arsenal ladies striker who has taken to the league in England like duck to water after joining in May 2017.
Just 22 years of age, the Dutch international whose full name is Anna Margaretha Astrid “Vivianne” Miedema has already scored 152 times in 172 games in her short career which in itself is astronomical.
She is already close to becoming Netherlands highest goal scorer having scored 51 times in just 64 international matches.
The phenomenal player made her professional debut for Heerenveen at the age of 15 before making her international debut the same year. She moved to Bayern Munich in 2014 before finally joining Arsenal
She is regarded as a clinical finisher who strives in attacking football which according to her is one of the reasons she joined Arsenal.
“I had some really good years a Bayern and I really enjoyed it, but I needed a new challenge and to be honest, I didn’t really want to stay in Germany,” she said.
“The way of playing wasn’t my style of play, so I wanted to try something new.
“If you saw Bayern we would often play with five at the back and defensive midfielders in front, which meant a lot of long balls forward and me trying to run in behind the opposition – I just wanted something different.”
She is currently the joint top scorer in the league and has created more chances than any other player.
