Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil in a recent statement has opened up on the huge criticism he gets from football fans and pundits, the German star stated that he doesn’t care what people say.

Mesut Ozil has been at the receiving end of criticisms ever since he left Spanish club, Real Madrid and came to ply his trade in England with Arsenal under former coach Arsene Wenger.

Many football pundits have criticized Ozil for his style of football, not be available for the North London club and not given the club his best.

Well, the 30-year-old midfielder following his years of experience may have learned that its best to keep a deaf ear at criticisms.

Mesut Ozil said the only criticism he cared about was from his coach and people in his close circle.

He went on to add that not everyone can like him and he is certain there are people who like him as well.

The Gunners midfielder also spoke on the experience under the new coach, Unai Emery.

He hinted that at the moment Arsenal FC are doing well but they are still learning to adapt to coach Emery’s style of play.
