The Arsenal boss was speaking after his team drew 1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers

Unai Emery says Arsenal are ‘not happy’ with their point against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Gunners were lucky to snatch a late draw against Wolves after Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s cross found the net to cancel out Ivan Cavaleiro’s first half opener.

Even after Arsenal had drawn level Wolves created two big chances with Adama Traore and Morgan Gibbs-White coming within a whisker of sealing a famous win.

Gunners boss Emery said: “It was not enough to get the win. But after we drew level we continued to take risks because we wanted to win. We are not happy with this point.”

Emery changed Arsenal’s shape at half-time after Wolves ran his side ragged in the first half.

Matteo Guendouzi replaced Alex Iwobi with Arsenal deploying four midfielders up against Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.

And Emery admitted Wolves made him change his ‘idea’.

“In the first half they made it very hard,” Emery added.

“This team is very difficult to break down or to break their defensive lines and they transition very quickly. Our idea changed a little because we needed to take more risks.

“The team played with character and we had chances to draw before (we scored).”
