Manchester United willing to allow Arsenal target Eric Bailly to leave in January, the Telegraph reports.
The Gunners have been linked with signing the central defender in recent months, as Unai Emery wants to bring new faces into his backline.
The Ivorian centre-back has fallen entirely out of favour under Jose Mourinho, not even making the matchday squad in Sunday’s 3-1 loss to Manchester City.
His last appearance came against Newcastle in early October, when he was substituted after just 19 minutes.
The north London club are not the only side thought to be keeping tabs on the situation, with London rivals Tottenham also in the race for his services.
Eric Bailly arrived at Old Trafford with a big reputation back in 2016 in £30 million deal, with many seeing him as a key defender for years to come.
His displays have proved erratic, though, and his relationship with the manager appears to have soured.
The Ivory Coast defender is still just 24 years old, however, and he can be a good buy for Arsenal.
Unai Emery’s side have not always looked assured defensively this season, conceding 15 goals in 12 Premier League matches, and are in need of reinforcements in that area.
