Arsenal contract rebel man Aaron Ramsey has been reported to have agreed a move to Bayern Munich ahead of his contract expiration at the end of this 2018/19 season, according to report from the Independent.

With the exit being inevitable for Ramsey in the summer, Premier League rivals Liverpool and Chelsea were desperate to secure his service when his contract expires.

With all that German club Bayern Munich is now in pole position to sign the midfielder having began an early negotiations.

The 27-year-old Welsh international was given the queue to leave the Emirates Stadium after the club took back an offer of extension last summer which left the midfielder angry.

Ramsey joined the Gunners in the summer of 2008 making it eight year with the North London club.

Wales head coach Ryan Giggs will be naming Aaron Ramsey in his team to face Denmark later today in the UEFA Nations League.

Giggs, who is not surprised by the number of European clubs linked with Ramsey, has back the Wales international to succeed anywhere at his new club.

“He’s been linked with everyone, which is expected because he’s a quality player,” Welsh manager said.

Wales captain Ashley William further spoke on the midfielder saying: He can cut it, It’s not really a surprise. His quality speaks for itself.

“He’s been doing it for years now, he’s not a young lad now.

“He’s done it at international level and in the Premier League and Europe.
“I’m sure a lot of big teams will be interested in him.
“For us, he’s obviously one of the most important players in our team and we are happy he is back.

“He gives us something a little bit different to the other players in the squad. He can do something you wouldn’t expect.

“He’s one of the leaders of the team so he’s very important.
“I’ve played with him for years and he’s massive.
“We want all of our experienced and best players on the pitch as much as possible.”
