Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague has claimed that English outfits Arsenal are attempting to lure one of Barcelona’s attacking young and talented players.

Guillem Balague continued by saying that the Gunners made a loan-to-buy offer to sign Ousmane Dembele who is also wanted by Arsenal’s rival Liverpool, but on the other side, the Catalan giants are feeling reluctant to sell the player and the agent is also not ready to agree on terms with Barcelona.

Arsene Wenger was replaced at the Emirates stadium with Unai Emery in May this year and ever since his replacement, the new coach has been faced with the charge of making things right by filling a lot of gaps in the Arsenal line up.

The gap left behind by Arsene Wenger has prompted the new manager Unai Emery to go in search of attacking force in the likes of Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele. The Gunners are trying to sign the player in the next winter transfer window.

According to Guillem Balague, the only move made by the Gunners was to get the player on loan, with a buy option. And that was an intermediate, not directly from Arsenal.

“The only approach from Arsenal was to get him on loan, with an option to buy. That was an intermediate, not directly from Arsenal.” said Guillem Balague

“And again, Barcelona did not listen to it. Barcelona don’t want to let him go in January either. They believe that they can get something out of him.

Barcelona did not actually listen to the speculations because they don’t want to let him leave in the January transfer window and they also believe they can get something out of him. The club believes Dembele has the ability to make a difference like he did at the beginning of the season.

Arsenal would have to work hard to sign the player because Liverpool are very keen on getting him and Barcelona on the other hand, are currently trying hard to keep him.
