ARSENAL legend Tony Adams believes his former side should have come away with all three points from Wednesday’s clash at Manchester United.
Arsenal drew 2-2 at Old Trafford despite being in the lead on two occasions.
The Gunners took the lead in the first half through Shkodran Mustafi but Manchester United were level within four minutes with Anthony Martial scoring his eighth of the season.
Arsenal once again went in front midway through the second half, with Alexandre Lacazette’s scrappy effort beating David De Gea.
But within 13 seconds of the restart United equalised, with Jesse Lingard poking home from close range.
And Adams reckons Unai Emery’s side will feel a little hard done by with the result.
“A catalogue of errors from both teams,” he said on BT Sport.
“I think Arsenal are a little bit unlucky for me not to come away with all three points.
“But 20 games undefeated Arsenal, happy days.”
Rio Ferdinand was working alongside Adams and admits De Gea kept his former team in the game.
“I agree both defences were suspect at times in the game,” Ferdinand said.
I think David De Gea recovered from the mistake he made in the first half and kept Man United in it towards the end.
“Both teams huffed and puffed without too much quality on show today.”
Arsenal drop down to fifth in the table after Tottenham beat Southampton 3-1.
United slip to ninth and have not won in four league games.
